Save Our Shropshire and Telford Energy Advice are running a free event on 1st March 2024 to help people save energy now and into the future.Electricity prices have gone up by 5 % from last year, and although they will go down by 14 % later this year, they are still incredibly high. Up to 30 % are in Fuel poverty, which means they need to choose between eating or heating.
TEA’s energy advisors will be on hand to help you take advantage of fantastic tips and measures to stop your house from leaking energy. The event is free and will include lunch. Save Our Shropshire will give you practical advice on how to save energy in the long term through the use of Solar Panels, perhaps switching your energy supplier, and getting air source heat pumps. You will also save our precious planet.
It will be at the Meeting Point House on 1st March 2024 from 11 to 2 pm. It is supported by the Telford and Wrekin council.
