February 23rd saw floods again in Shrewsbury, and along the Severn towards Ironbridge. See STAR, Our reaction is to put up the flood barriers. But these floods are now an annual event. Instead of “placing a sticking plaster” on the problem we urgently need to confront the climate emergency, which is the true cause of the problems.
